Patient Feedback Fortnight

We will be carrying out a survey of patients who visit the practice during the fortnight beginning 18th September, 2017. All feedback will be used to guide, shape and improve the care we provide for our patients. Please do take part. Thank you.

Appointments

Appointments can be made either:

By coming into the Health Centre

By telephoning the surgery numbers:

  • Kidlington branch: 01865 842292/01865 375215
  • Yarnton branch: 01865 379345

On-line via https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk

Routine Appointments

All patients may book a routine appointment at either our Kidlington or Yarnton surgeries.  Routine appointments are booked at 10 minute intervals, but if you feel you need a longer appointment than usual please let the receptionist know and we will try to make provision for this. As we have two surgeries, please do always check with the receptionist where your appointment is to take place.

Urgent Appointments

Urgent appointments may be booked by contacting reception at either our Kidlington or Yarnton Surgery.  However to allow us to run an efficient urgent care system, patients may be asked to attend the Kidlington Surgery for their appointment.

When you phone reception to request an urgent appointment you will be asked to provide a little information about why you need to a see a doctor or nurse.  This allows our receptionists to make sure your problem is dealt with by the most appropriate person in a timely manner.  All our admin team are trained in privacy and confidentiality, but if you prefer not to provide any details this will be respected.

General Information

Although it is helpful to see the same doctor for one episode of an illness, all patients may book an appointment with any of our doctors.  Each patient does have a named accountable GP who is responsible for co-ordinating their care but it is not necessary to only consult that doctor.

When you arrive for your appointment please use the automatic arrivals system or check in with the receptionist.
